Ho ho ho! I hope you are having wonderful winter. I know 2020 has probably been the roughest year yet. But we aren't going to let COVID steal our joy.
Ten Ways Your Business Can Spread Christmas Cheer
1. Have a Holiday Sale - Nothing gets people more ready for the holiday season than Black Friday sales. This year Covid has Black Friday lasting weeks rather than one day and mostly online. You can host your own holiday sale on your website or social media.
2. Support a Local Charity- Tis the season to give. Make a difference in your local community by supporting a charity. You can give a portion of your sales to the charity, collect items, volunteer, or ask for donations from your shoppers.
3. Host a Giveaway - These are always so fun and a great way to reward your current fans on social media while gaining new ones and increasing your brand presence.
4. Countdown to Christmas - I have been counting down to Christmas since July! (Aint nothing wrong with that! ) Get your fans excited for the big day or your big sale by having a countdown on your social media.
5. Give Free Gifts - Are you strictly online? Give your fans access to one of your ebooks. Have an actual store? Gift a cute trinket to those who choose to stop by and shop or dine with you. It could be a logo item of your business or a certain percentage off. Tailor the gift to your business and what you can afford to give.
6. Create Wishlists for your Customers - Have the perfect gift for the busy mom? The teen fashionista? Dad of all trades? What about a teacher? Create item wishlists and share them on your social media.
7. Deck Your Business- Decorate! Get into the holiday spirit. Share your decorations on your social media. Wear the Santa hat and jingle bells earrings!
8. Get your Website and social channels into the Christmas Spirit- Have a festive homepage on your website. This can set the mood and get your clients/shoppers excited about their holiday shopping experience. Update your Facebook cover and your IG pic with one that spread Christmas Cheer! We currently updated our IG pic to be our logo with reindeer antlers and holly.

9. Include Your Employees in a Christmas Greeting - I love this one! Shoot a video of your team wishing customers a happy holiday. I have had clients have their employees talk and I have had clients eager to sing and dance. There really is no right or wrong way to do this. Let your employee's personalities shine through. This is one of my favorites I worked on with the amazing team at Rokaru Shabu Shabu.

10. Have a Live Social Media Party - Covid has us not able to gather in large groups and celebrate but there is no limit when you meet on zoom or start at Facebook or IG Live video. You can use this party to launch your festive products for the holiday or to announce the winners of your giveaway. You can use it as a raffle or even announce how much your customers helped raise for the local charity of your choice. It's a great way to connect with your followers. Make sure you set a time and let your followers know in advance so you reach a larger audience - after all the more the merrier!
